Places to Stay

Provincetown is a really fun place to visit. It's got many styles of accommodations, your choices run the gamut from Cape Cod kitche, romantic weekend, exotic destination theme suites, sleek modernist studios, basic hotel rooms, rental cottages, and even houses. Here are some suggestions for every budget. Unless you opt to stay in truro, (you will need a car if you do), Everything in Provincetown is centrally located.
There's the super classy Crown Point Inn, which is still offering lower season rates in June. Gael Garcia Bernal stayed there last year for the film fest... So it's got movie star swank.
One of my favorite places is Captain Jack's Wharf, They offer super quaint condos out on a wharf. Each unit is unique and charming. They only rent by the week though.
Enzo's has limited rooms, is right downtown, and has a great Italian restaurant downstairs.
The Red Inn has "Old World Charm", and a smooth jazz intro on their website, but seriously, they've got a wonderful patio and wine list, and they're a bit removed from the hectic commercial area.
The Pilgrim House is a less expensive option that has sweet rooms, is very central, and there's an AMAZING wine bar downstairs. oh yeah, one of the reasons the rooms are more affordable is because they are above a bar. But bars close early on the Cape, so even if it's a little noisy, (rooms are a bit more expensive on the floor removed from the bar area, and it would be quieter there), all the noise stops at 1:00 AM.
If you feel like dropping mad cash check out The Land's End Inn, the Moroccan Room is insane.
Cape Cod Rentals or Cyber Rentals are great resource for people looking to rent houses and cottages. Most of the houses rent by the week, but many also offer nightly rates. If you go this route I would recommend searching "Truro", or "Wellfleet", You will need a rental car, but you will also feel very peaceful.
The Provincetown Office of Tourism can expand these options for you, as well as educate you on all the goings on about town. It looks like there's a playwrights festival coinciding with the wedding weekend. It's not Bear Week, but we can't always have it all, can we...
